Project description:
This project was designed to share teaching skills with artists who were interested in helping others to develop their skills. The project, supported by the Stockton Arts Commission, consisted of 6 seminar sessions for those potential artist-teachers, followed by 6 public workshops where project participants got an opportunity to practice what they’d learned.
The first set of 3 workshops – WATERCOLOR TECHNIQUES – explored landscapes, color mixing, and shadow & light.
In the second set of 3 workshops – THINGS TO DO WITH PAPER & GLUE – participants made fidget spinners, paper toys, and masks.
